Queensland Rail’s Level Crossing Compliance

In 2017 – 2018 RCSG deployed two trial sites for Queensland Rail using a new level crossing solution developed with COTS (commercial off the shelf) technology. Following client acceptance RCSG was awarded the contract to deliver this technology across high risk level crossing sites throughout regional Queensland.

This project is an end to end solution from technology development through to commissioning, inclusive of safety assurance activities, detailed design, procurement, factory build and test, site works (civil and electrical installation) and final testing and commissioning. In 2021 QR awarded RCSG additional sites and we are continuing to roll out our level crossing solution across locations in North Queensland.

Since commencing this project our technology solution has gained industry recognition and has been type approved by other mainline operators within Australia
